I started this because nobody had built it yet.

I bought three pairs of compression socks in my second trimester. Two of them I could not get on by myself. The third rolled down my calf by lunchtime and left a mark I could still see at bedtime.

Everything here exists because something I bought did not work, and I could not find the version that did. If something we make lets you down, write to me. I read it.

Why the last thing you bought did not work

Most of it is not built for the body you have this month.

Not because the companies are careless. Because they design for an average body, and pregnancy is a body that changes every few weeks.

Your calf is not the size it was a few weeks ago

Most compression sizing is set by shoe size alone, which is why a pair that fit at twenty weeks digs in at thirty-two. Our compression socks are designed with this in mind.

Skin gets more sensitive, not less

A seam you would not have noticed a few weeks ago is the reason a sock ends up in a drawer by the second wear.

Bending over stops being simple

Compression that assumes you can reach your own feet is compression you will stop wearing. Ours is designed for easier daily use, and we show you the method rather than pretending it slides on by itself.

Common is not the same as fine

Being told swelling is normal does not tell you what to do about it on a Tuesday afternoon at work.

Before you buy

Is this actually built for pregnancy, or a normal product with maternity written on the box?

Built for it. That is the whole reason the brand exists. A pregnant body changes shape every few weeks, and most support products are sized once for an average body that does not. Our socks are sized on calf measurement rather than shoe size, the support band adjusts as you grow, and the safety belt is shaped around a bump rather than in spite of one.

Has anyone medical been involved in what you make?

LumaBelly products have been individually tested and OBGYN-approved. All products we launch are designed and overlooked by medical experts.

How long should I wear them each day?

Put them on in the morning before your legs have had a chance to swell, and take them off at bedtime. Daytime wear is the general guidance. Ask your midwife or doctor before sleeping in them.

Can I keep using these after the birth?

Plenty of women do. Swelling often carries on for a few weeks postpartum and catches people by surprise. If you had any complications, check with your clinician first.

When will my order arrive?

10 to 15 days from the moment you order. That is 1 to 2 days to pack, 1 to 2 days to reach the carrier, and 7 to 12 days in transit. We would rather tell you the real number than promise three days.

What if I don't like a product or it doesn't fit?

Email us and we will swap the size or refund you. You have 30 days, and if your delivery ran long and that leaves you short, tell us and we will extend it.
